Electromagnetic Flowmeter is a Magnetically Coil Actuated Flowmeter
which works based on Faradays Law, Coil generates the electromagnetic
field which is interrupted by the moving fluid in the Flowmeter. As a result
a EMF is generated and is sensed by the electrodes and this potential
difference is translated in the Flowrate and showcased on the display,
transmitter is used to convert and provide the output to PLC compatible
4-20 mA DC Current. Flowmeter has lining which isolates the possible
electric current - shocks.

FAQ's of Electro Magnetic Flowmeter:
Q: How is the Electro Magnetic Flowmeter installed in a pipeline?
A: The flowmeter can be mounted using flanged or wafer connections compatible with ANSI, DIN, or BS standards. Installation should be at locations with full pipe conditions and sufficient straight pipe runs upstream and downstream for optimal accuracy.
Q: What types of fluids can this flowmeter accurately measure?
A: It is suitable for any conductive liquid, including water, chemicals, slurries, and process fluids with conductivities above the device's minimum threshold, making it versatile for various industrial applications.
Q: When is factory calibration performed, and how is accuracy maintained?
A: Factory calibration is completed before shipment, traceable to NABL standards. This guarantees an accuracy of 0.5% of the reading. Accuracy is maintained through periodic verification and following manufacturer guidelines for recalibration if required.
Q: Where is the internal data logged, and how can it be accessed?
A: Data is stored in the flowmeter's internal memory and can be downloaded through the RS485/Modbus interface, allowing users to review flow history and diagnostics for operational assessment and compliance.
Q: What are the benefits of the self-diagnosis and error code features?
A: Self-diagnosis and error codes enable proactive detection of faults like empty pipe, sensor issues, or wiring errors. This minimizes downtime, eases troubleshooting, and supports uninterrupted process operations.
Q: How does empty pipe detection enhance measurement reliability?
A: Empty pipe detection ensures that the measurement signal only represents actual flow conditions, preventing false readings when the pipe is not full. It boosts process integrity and avoids errors in low or no flow scenarios.
Q: What is the typical usage process for monitoring flow using this meter?
A: Once installed and powered (220V AC/24V DC), operators monitor flow rate, totalized volume, forward/reverse direction, and alarms on the digital LCD/LED display. Data is output via selectable connectivity options and can be logged for further analysis.
